We have built in the intention of fellowship in our every action.
A Sublime Life with Dr. Kathryn Dundas – BA, MD and CCFP
At Sublime, well-being is the ultimate focus. “We have built in the intention of fellowship in our every action,” says Dr. Dundas. The guests at Sublime become students, and are “encouraged and educated on how to better care for themselves.”
“We are just as human as the people in our care, and I believe when you learn how to connect with the people around you, the result is a deeper, more fulfilling experience, which leads to lower stress and more successful results.”
EVIDENCE IN THE EXPERIENCE
Dr. Dundas believes the broader concepts of health promotion and the prevention of illness are paramount. “I love caring about our patients,” Dr. Dundas says, “and I love helping people feel good about themselves. In this day and age, people need to know that they matter and feel connected to others.” Dr. Dundas focuses on healing-oriented methods that take account of the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — including all aspects of lifestyle. She enjoys spending time with her children, raising horses, cooking, photography and traveling. She emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and makes use of all evidence-based therapies, both conventional and alternative. Dr. Dundas is a First Line Therapy practitioner, member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, meditation instructor, Aura Soma certified, serves on the advisory board of the HBOC (Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Foundation) the board of directors of the International Spa Association, and the board of directors with a Global Health Task Force. She is the founder, CEO and Medical Director of Sublime Wellness, Luminère Body and Spirit Foundation and Medical Director of Primary MD. Dr. Dundas is also the author and co-author of a number of research papers.
